LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) – The cats improve to 5-0 this season against AP Top-15 opponents after a physical win over the aggies on Tuesday night.

The shots were not falling in the first half for the cats, but the cats came out of the locker room and went on an 11-2 run to help pull away with the win. Overall, Kentucky shot 46% from the field and 33% from the three.

Kentucky was yet again led by Jaxson Robinson, who had 22 points and a career-high-tying eight rebounds.

Despite the cats having a season-high 17 turnovers, their defense looked strong and ultimately kept them in the game. Kentucky won the rebounding 40-30; it was only the third time this season that the aggies have been outrebounded. Amari Williams had a game-high 12 rebounds; he now has seven games with double-digit boards this season.

Kentucky improves to 14-3 and is 3-1 in the SEC. Next up, they host #4 Alabama at noon on Saturday.
