CINCINATTI, OH. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) – The Bengals fell in their third straight game 38-33 to the Washington Commanders on Monday night. All three of their losses this year have been within a six point margin.

The offense, though, had a more balanced pass-rush game than in previous weeks; 312 yards in the air and 124 on the ground. Burrow connected twice with wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase, who seemed a lot less pressured with Tee Higgins back in the wideout room. Chase Brown led the run game with 7 carries for 62 yards.

However, the Bengals had no answer for the game Jayden Daniels was playing. The rookie quarterback went 21-23, throwing a total of 254 yards. Cincinnati had a hard time disrupting his pass game and making him uncomfortable in the pocket.

The Bengals also struggled converting in the redzone. The commanders were 3-3 in the redzone, whereas the Bengals were 2-4; settling for two field goals instead. The Commanders also went for it three times on fourth down, converting each time. The Bengals were 1-1 on fourth down conversions.

The Bengals are on the road next Sunday to take on the Panthers.
