Fayette Mall seeing an increase in shoppers and sales

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) — It’s the most wonderful time of the year, we are just one week away from Christmas.

A key part of the season for many people is shopping for gifts.

Fayette Mall says it’s seen an increase in both the number of shoppers and how much money they’re spending.

“A lot of store managers have been commenting about how they’ve seen such great traffic,” Rabiya Syed with Fayette Mall said. “It’s been great compared to last year and years prior.”

She adds that since the pandemic, they’ve noticed that people are just happy to be back around their community.
