LexPark to increase fines and monthly parking fees starting this weekend

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Starting this Sunday, LexPark will be raising the cost of its parking citations and monthly parking passes.

According to LexPark, citations for illegal parking will now cost $25, up from the previous $15 fine. Additionally, there will be a $5 increase in the cost of monthly parking passes at the Helix and Transit Center parking structures.

This marks the first time LexPark has raised its fines since the program began in 2008.
