NKY town in shock after mother’s dismembered body found
Resident Mike Graves, whose wife is a teacher and knew Trudy’s family, told ABC 36, that she was stunned when the news came out.
“Just shocked, can’t believe it all happened, she knew the family and they were good to her, and she knew them. I mean it’s not somebody you see every day, we saw them because it was down the road. Like it said you don’t have anything here, a gas station a dollar store, you bumped into someone, somewhere,” said Graves.
Another neighbor, who lived next to where the incident happened, described the people who lived in the house as good neighbors. Graves noted that while Mount Olivet is a small community, residents generally look out for one another.
“This is one of those towns, where if you need help we’ll help you. I mean we’re all friendly we get a long, it’s small town community,” said Graves. “This kind of stuff doesn’t need to happen anywhere, from Mount Olivet to New York, California, Florida,” said Graves.
Torilena Fields is scheduled for an arraignment on October 14th.
