Shots fired investigation in Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) — Authorities are actively searching for a suspect following an overnight shooting incident in Lexington.

According to police, shots were fired into a home on Niagara Drive, in the Rapid Run Drive and Trent Boulevard area, around 1:45 a.m. Monday. Although there were people inside the home at the time, fortunately, no one was hurt.

Investigators have reported property damage resulting from the shooting. The search for the suspect is ongoing, and police are urging anyone with information to come forward.
