Woodford Reserve holiday bottle, spiced apple mixer released

It’s barely November but Woodford Reserve is ready for the holidays. And this year there’s something new for the bar.

In addition to the annual festive holiday bottle, Woodford Reserve paired with Williams Sonoma to create a seasonal cocktail mixer, Spiced Apple.

“A Woodford Reserve holiday bottle along with the Spiced Apple cocktail mixer make the perfect holiday pairing — and a great gift item,” Woodford Reserve Master Distiller Chris Morris said.

This addition to their line of cocktail mixers celebrates Kentucky’s apple harvest with apple juice, raw demerara sugar, cinnamon, ginger and cloves. Elizabeth McCall, Woodford Reserves assistant master distiller said the mixer pairs well with Woodford Reserve bourbon “for the perfect crisp, holiday cocktail.”

To go with it, the distillery has released its holiday bottle with a scene again by British architect Nick Hirst depicting the still room where the bourbon is created. “Copper and Stone” shows the existing three copper pot stills (three more are coming in 2022.) The one-liter bottle is available at stores across the U.S. for $50.
